Directions
Skaarungen is a small coastal gem in Lofoten, 3 kilometers outside Kabelvåg. Lofoten's largest town, Svolvær, is 9 kilometers away. You can travel to Lofoten by car, plane, ferry, express route or fast boat. Lofoten has a mainland connection via Lofast (E10), but if you come by car from the south via E6, you are dependent on a ferry, either Bognes-Lødingen (1h) or Bodø-Moskenes (3h 15min).
The nearest airport to Skaarungen is Svolvær Airport, which is 13 kilometers away. Both SAS and Widerøe fly directly to Svolvær. Alternatively, you can fly to Evenes in Bodø. From Evenes it is a 2.5 hour drive to Svolvær.

Facing the magnificent Vågakallen, Skårungen has a Dream location for events.
We can host your next conference or business meeting. Our conference room can seat up to 40 people. We have a new projector and can set up the room as you prefer. Together with our restaurant we can prepare drinks and snack, as well as serve breakfast, warm lunch and dinner. What about some Italian Pizza from our wood fired oven?
Skårungen is perfectly located in the middle of the archipelago, and that makes it a perfect basecamp to explore not only the area around us, which offer countless hikes and other activities but also the entire Lofoten in a maximum of two hours drive to the the very tip of The islands.
